Heather Simmons, MSN, FNP, WCS-C, APRN holds a Master’s Degree from Barry University and is a Family Nurse Practitioner with an emphasis in Emergency Medicine and Trauma.  Her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is from Middle TN State University.  During her professional career as a Nurse Practitioner the past 20+ years, she has worked in many different settings, including management, education and the clinical setting.  Heather is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, the highest honor a Nurse Practitioner can achieve.  She loves to take care of patients, do procedures and goes around the country teaching other providers how to do injections, etc.  She works in conjunction with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes and finds the medical field personally and professionally rewarding every day.
